With a little help from my daughter Becky I have found the setting to allow you to leave feedback on these blog posts.
All you have to do is click on comments, type your comment then there's a drop down box where you can select ' name/url'. A box will appear, type your name but you can leave the url blank and then all you have to do is click publish.
Hope you'll leave lots of comments and suggestions. Can't wait to hear from you.

More pictures from the July Event. Becky spent her day making these brilliant tree hangings.

She's promised to show us how to make them at a future class.

July's All-Day Workshop

This was our last all-day event before the summer break and many of us were getting ready for our annual holidays - which is why I forgot to post these.
Thanks Helen for these great picture of some of the cards you made in July. We all enjoyed ourselves at this freestyle class and it was a great way to wind down ready for the summer holidays

September's Christmas Workshop

These beautiful table decorations were our morning projects.

In the afternoon we made these mini scrapbook cards all  from exactly the same raw materials. Thanks to Richard for working out how to make these from the lovely card Jenny sent me.
Many thanks to Lorrie for this month's photos

We used Calypso Coral Card Stock with Everyday Enchantment DSP ( introduced during sale-a-bration earlier this year and available to buy, while stocks last during, July ), Love and Laughter Stamp set and some of the lovely organza ribbon in Lucky Limeade which you can get free if you spend £45 this month.

The Wedding Wheels card on the top right is made with Cherry Cobbler and Very Vanilla Card Stock.

Finally the bottom right card is made from Shimmery White and Rich Razzleberry card stock and a small piece of retired Speciality DSP.

I can't believe I'm up to date now with pictures from classes. That leaves me free to plan the projects for my next class which is the all-day Christmas workshop on Saturday 21st July

Fantastic News Fron Stampin' Up

As from 1st October 2012 Stampin' Up are bringing the European Market in line with the American Market

This means that the 2012-2013 catalogue will be virtually the same as the one that has recently launched in America - that's a massive 204 pages - and will last for only 9 months so that our 2013-2014 catalogue will launch just 1 month after the North American one.

We will be getting two seasonal mini catalogues each year.  An Autumn/ Winter catalogue  starting 1st September 2012 lasting to January.  Then the Spring/Summer mini starting February to 30th June.  They will be A4 size and 40 pages big, nearly identical to the American Mini's

So you can stop looking on-line and wishing we had the same and start writing your new WISH LISTS.

Just remember we are not guaranteed everything they have over there but almost everything

Happy planning everyone see you soon

Sheila x :-)

First Class at Crystal Rocks

 Hi All,

2 weeks ago I did my first class at The Valley Craft Group's session at Crystal Rocks in Waterfoot.
This was a class idea from Jenny Moors and we made it so we would have somewhere to keep the cards we will make in future classes. I was inspired by Helen's request for themed cards so she would have a supply to dip into for any occasion.

More pictures to follow then I think I'm up to date x :-)

Dad's 80th Birthday

My dad celebrated his 80th birthday earlier this month and these are the cards we made for him.
Becky chose the Sprinkled expressions SAB set and brights on a Pumpkin Pie card with Whisper White layer.

My card featured the Motorcycle stamp with Morning Mocha papers and letters and numbers cut on the big shot using the alphabet set. The card base is Soft Suede with a Very Vanilla layer.

I'll be back soon with more pics from recent classes :-)

Christmas Workshop 17th March 2012

We made the brown coloured bag from some wrapping paper, the red one from Poster paper and the blue one is a white lunch bag covered with Marina Mist card stock. We used the Top Note die for the tags and embellished them with more of the paper used for the bags.
For the cards we used Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake card stock, Contempo Christmas, Delightful Decorations and Sweet Snowglobe stamp sets and the Scallop Trim Corner punch. Ok so there are other sentiments in there but I'm sure you can work out which ones from the pictures.

Our next Christmas workshop is on Saturday 21st April and I'm planning to make some room decorations as well as more Christmas cards.

Have fun crafting
Sheila :-)

Handbags and cards class 1st March 2012

At our latest class we made the pretty gift bags. The two in the foreground were each made from one 6"x 6" sheet of Designer Series Paper with co-ordinating card stock for decoration and fastenings. The other one uses a white lunch bagcut shorter and covered with layered card stock and DSP. We used brads and elastic to keep them closed.

The cards were freestyle using punches and rubber stamps. We used the 2010-2012 In Colours at this class

Becky & Vicky's Birthday Cards

It's my twin daughters' birthday tomorrow and we've been to visit them today to drop off their cards and pressies. These are the cards I made for them. I always find it safer to do them the same card but in different colours as you will see if you check out my old posts.

Have fun crafting :-)

Everyday Enchantment Gift Box

We used the sale-a-bration designer papers to decorate this lovely hinged-lid box.

The 3D flowers are made from co-ordinating card stock using the scallop circle punch and brads.

We finished them off with sponged edges to create a distressed look or dazzling diamonds for a 'bling' effect.

If you want more details of this or any of the projects featured in this blog just
leave a comment and I'll get back to you

Have fun crafting x :-)

First All Day Christmas Workshop

This year I've decided to host a Chritmas workshop every month and make it an all-day event so we can get a lot done.

Today our morning project was this useful planner

After lunch we made these no-fold boxes and cards.

We all decided to decorate our cards in different ways and I had allowed for this by getting out all my Christmas sets including retired ones

We're hoping that by next Christmas we'll have enough hand-made cards for all our friends and some gift boxes and bags too

Friday 20 January 2012

All Day Workshop

Tomorrow I'm hosting my first all day workshop.

The packs and the table are ready just need to sort the refreshments now.

I'll post some photos after the event
